I had a sign saying "Basel". I wanted to go to the Pratteln service station to stay on the swiss A2 highway. Got picked up by a guy driving to Brugg. He said he was going through Basel, so I took the ride, but actually he went through Lörach. Be aware that there are two entries into Switzerland! in the early morning it's mostly workers going to the nearby places, also to orange, however i had to remain on the highway and was waiting for a ride that could drop me on a rest area. eventually i got a lift to lyon and on the way there the trucker told me he'd be going as far as germany. i ended up spending the entire shift with him :) obrigado, marcelo―andrej
